Kia Niro EV charging details

Kia says the Niro EV will charge in 4.5 hours on a level 2 charger. That’s better than the Nissan LEAF for only 2.5 hours for 28 kWh battery.

The Nissan Leaf charges at 6.6 kW but there are no numbers for the Niro EV or Ioniq Electric. Perhaps they charge at 7.2 kW like the Volkswagen e-Golf.

I have a JuiceBox that can support up to 15 kW but seems like the vehicles can’t handle that amount yet, even a newer to market model like the Niro.
